Dingxiang Flanges: Forging a New Future for the Industry with Digitalization

On August 22, 2025, the on-site promotion meeting for the Xinhua Index business was held in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. Zhao Yadong, Deputy County Magistrate of Dingxiang County, shared the digitalization journey of Dingxiang's flange forging industry. By phasing out outdated production capacity and embracing the Industrial Internet, Dingxiang has advanced industrial upgrading. The county has built 16 intelligent production lines, and 28 enterprises have applied digital tools such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and MES (Manufacturing Execution System).

Meanwhile, the People's Government of Dingxiang County, in collaboration with China Economic Information Service, jointly released the "Xinhua · Dingxiang Flange Price Index". This index helps break through bottlenecks in industrial chain collaboration and provides support for enterprises' production and operation as well as the formulation of government policies.
