Recently, our factory has completed the production and delivery of a batch of American standard flanges for special working conditions, which have been successfully shipped to cooperative enterprises in the United States. This batch of orders is specially tailored for industrial pipeline projects with extreme temperature differences in North America, adopting two dedicated American standard materials: ASTM A350 LF3 low-temperature carbon steel and ASTM A182 F91 heat-resistant alloy steel.
LF3 low-temperature carbon steel features excellent low-temperature toughness and can resist impacts in extremely cold environments, ideal for polar oil and gas facilities and low-temperature storage equipment. F91 heat-resistant alloy boasts high strength and superior oxidation resistance, widely used in thermal power generation and high-temperature steam pipelines.
Manufactured in strict accordance with ASME B16.5 standards, the flanges are formed by open-die forging and treated with normalizing and tempering heat treatment. Each piece undergoes ultrasonic flaw detection and physical & chemical testing to strictly control hardness, dimensional tolerances and sealing end face quality. Supported by rich experience in forging special-grade materials, our products have successfully passed the stringent qualification reviews by US clients.
